Effects of Coating Breeding Eggs With Different Materials On Hatching Results
Damızlık Yumurtaları Değişik Maddelerle Kaplayarak Depolamanın Kuluçka Sonuçlarına Etkisi

In this research 1800 eggs obtained from ATAK-S breeding stock aged 41 weeks were used. The research was conducted in randomized parcels experimental design with 3 replicates and 150 eggs were used in each replicate. The treatments were control, coating with sugared water diluted at 1/1 ratio, coating with 3% gelatinous water and coating with stretch. All the eggs were stored 13 days and then hatched. Egg weight losses 0.32, 0.41, 0.38, 0.23 g, hatchability 83.30, 77.73, 84.82, 86.38 (%) , hatchability of fertil eggs 85.96, 79.78, 86.41, 88.56 (%), early emryo mortality ratios 4.15, 9.83, 4.69, 5.03 (%), middle embryo mortality ratios 0.22, 1.37, 0.47, 0.00 (%), late embryo mortality ratios 9.66, 8.92, 8.43, 6.40 (%), average chick weights 38..31, 38.48, 37.67, 38.49 (g) were found. While the egg weight losses, hatchability, hatchability of fertil eggs, early and middle embryo mortality ratios were found different (P<0.05), chick weights and late embrio mortality rations were not different (P>0.05) between the treatment groups. The lowest egg weight losses were observed in eggs coatined with stretch (S group) but this did not lead to an advantage compared to the control group.

Araştırmada 41 haftalık yaştaki ATAK-S damızlık sürüden elde edilen 1800 adet yumurta kullanılmıştır. Araştırma tesadüf parselleri deneme deseninde 3 tekerrürlü olarak yürütülmüş ve her bir tekerrürde 150 adet yumurta kullanılmıştır. Yumurtaların üzeri, biri kontrol olmak üzere, 1/1 oranında sulandırılmış şekerli su, %3’lük jelatinli su ve streçle kaplanarak 13 gün süreyle depolanmış ve kuluçka çıkışları yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesi neticesinde kontrol, şekerli su, jelatinli su ve streç ile kaplanan yumurtaların sırasıyla ağırlık kaybı; 0.32, 0.41, 0.38, 0.23 g; kuluçka randımanı (% ) 83.30, 77.73, 84.82, 86.38; çıkış gücü (%) 85.96, 79.78, 86.41, 88.56; erken dönem embriyo ölümleri (%) 4.15, 9.83, 4.69, 5.03; orta dönem embriyo ölümleri 0.22, 1.37, 0.47, 0.00; geç dönem embriyo ölümleri 9.66, 8.92, 8.43, 6.40; ortalama civciv ağırlığı 38..31, 38.48, 37.67, 38.49 g olarak bulunmuştur. Yumurta ağırlık kaybı, kuluçka randımanı, çıkış gücü, erken ve orta ve dönem embriyo ölümleri bakımından gruplar arasındaki farklılığın önemli (P<0.05), civciv ağırlığı ve geç dönem embriyo ölümleri arasındaki farklılığın ise önemsiz olduğu bulunmuştur (P>0.005). En düşük ağırlık kaybı streçle kaplanan yumurtalarda görülmüş ancak bu durum kontrol grubuna göre kuluçka sonuçlarında üstünlük sağlamamıştır. Yumurtaları şekerli su ile kaplayarak depolamanın kuluçka sonuçlarına olumsuz etkide bulunduğu, diğer maddelerin ise önemli bir etkide bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir
